  • Assist in the definition, implementation, and validation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models across business systems.
  • Review and recommend improvements to access request workflows, escalation paths, and approval mechanisms.
  • Propose and document process improvements for user access governance, entitlement reviews, and provisioning.
  • Support ongoing access reviews and attestations by validating role appropriateness and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IAM processes with business objectives and compliance needs.
  • Work with engineering and platform teams to ensure integration with Okta, AD, and Zilla follow best practices.
  • Contribute to IAM documentation, reporting, and audit preparation (e.g., SOC 2, SOX).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or related field OR equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in IAM, access governance, or security compliance roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with Zilla or similar tools for access governance, entitlement reviews, or policy enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts such as RBAC, least privilege, access lifecycle, and policy-based access.
  • Knowledge of common compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, SOX, NIST) and audit readiness.
  • Ability to read and interpret workflows and make recommendations for improvements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience defining and maintaining RBAC models across multi-application environments.
  • Understanding of identity protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with IAM reporting and audit evidence preparation.
  • Experience in hybrid or cloud-first enterprise environments.

About You:

  • You have a passion for improving security through process design and oversight.
  • You are collaborative and thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
  • You’re able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
