Overview

The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in sourcing, procuring, and monitoring vendors through a centralized purchasing process.

Responsibilities

  • Leads contract negotiations and assists in review and redlining of contracts, SOW’s, MSA’s and other applicable documents
  • Experience with strategic sourcing of vendors across various categories
  • Works with stakeholders from various business units within the organization to understand outsourcing needs or purchasing requirements
  • Facilitates RFI’s and RFP’s
  • Supports supplier evaluation and selection processes
  • Performs value and financial analysis to identify areas with cost saving potential with alternative products and suppliers
  • Works with the respective departments to determine appropriate KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Negotiates pricing, SLA’s and terms with vendors to maximize cost savings, quality and delivery
  • Monitors SLA’s and vendor compliance in accordance with company policies
  • Maintains and improves on contract inventory and management processes
  • Supports the execution and oversight of risk management and continuous monitoring programs and activities
  • Provides company representation with suppliers, market consultants and industry resources
  • Manages vendor relationships as the primary point of contact
  • Develops effective relationships with vendors and manages overall performance and adherence to HireRight’s processes and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's or better

Experience:

  • 4+ years: experience in procurement and vendor management  
  • 4+ years: experience with business-to-business related services, background screening industry experience is a plus
  • Experience working with and negotiating complex technology contracts is a plus
